Reiki Second Degree
Reiki Two is considered to be Practitioner level; after doing a Reiki Two course and attunement, it is then possible for you to set up a Reiki practice should you so wish. However people often take Reiki Two purely for themselves, because they want to experience attunement to the stronger energies provided by the Second Degree attunement, together with the Reiki Symbols.
Reiki Second Degree courses are held as a one day course, with the optional addition of a further half day course specifically on Reiki with Horses if not already taken with Reiki First Degree. It is a requirement of this Second Degree course that you have already taken Reiki First Degree with either myself or another Reiki Master. If your First Degree attunement was with another school of Reiki or with a different Reiki Master, it is useful to bring your course book so that the contents can be checked to ensure that all relevant First Degree material has been covered.
The one day Reiki Second Degree course comprises:
- The privilege of the Reiki symbols
- The Second Degree symbols and practice in drawing them
- How to use the symbols
- The Second Degree Reiki attunement
- How to use Second Degree Reiki for self healing
- How to use Second Degree Reiki for treating others
- How to send distance or absent healing
- Sending Reiki to the past or to the future
- How to develop psychic awareness using the symbols
- Scanning and beaming
- The Aura
- The Law of Polarities
- The 3 Pillars of Reiki - Gassho, Reiji-Ho and Chiryo
- Some extra Usui techniques
- Using Reiki to manifest wishes
- How to set up a Reiki practice
- Legalities, insurance, treatment records
During the day, there will be plenty of time to practice using the Reiki Symbols during treatments on yourself and others.
Upon successful completion of the course, each student receives a Second Degree Manual together with a certificate. This certificate will mean that you are able to obtain insurance should you wish to start your own Reiki practice.
If you are also interested in using Reiki with animals, there is the option of an extra half day hands-on course which is held at your yard, where you will be taught to do Reiki with your own horse.
